FREEDIVING IN WASHINGTON STATE
FREEDIVING COURSES
Your first step toward discovering why freediving is becoming a popular way to explore beneath the waves. No previous freediving course is required.
Freediving is about inward power, discipline and control. If you’ve always wanted to enter the underwater world quietly, on your own terms, staying as long as your breath allows, then freediving is for you. Taking the PADI Freediver course is your first step toward discovering why freediving is becoming a popular way to explore beneath the waves.
To enroll in a PADI Freediver course you must be at least 12 years old. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with snorkeling, skin diving or freediving is required.
FREEDIVING TRIPS
Did you know that snorkeling in Victoria is so rich with sea life that Jacques Cousteau once referred to the West Coast of BC as one of his favorite places in the world to dive!
Freedive off the coast of Vancouver Island with us. Just below the surface of Vancouver Island’s coastline is an amazingly diverse world of ocean life that is easily observable by snorkeling.
Freedive Northwest is going to Victoria BC in March. This will be a two day trip. Day one will be diving Ogden Point and day two will be Willis Point a little further to the north. If you’re not certified, no problem. We can do your open water portion in Victoria!
COST: $800
DATES: March 23rd and 24th, 2025
POOL TRAINING AND COACHING
So, you finished your Freediving Course and you’re thinking, “now what?” You can’t wait to get wet again, to do what you love the most… yes, we are talking about freediving! But we don’t need to be in the ocean to get all the benefits and joys of freediving.
Pool Training is fun! And the most substantial improvements in a person’s diving take place in the pool. We offer pool sessions and coaching to seriously improve your diving!
Coaching sessions and pool sessions for already certified divers are $50 per hour.
